I've lost some respect for Favre through this whole saga, but it doesn't change the fact that he is just plain outstanding.

Jon- Zach and I watched Conspiracy Theory last week! Funny you referenced that.

Also, I don't know that there are too many professional athletes that don't crave attention.

the guy clearly loves the spotlight… it was meant to be a little ridiculous but it is obvious that he craves attention.

I can’t remember; did you recently watch Conspiracy Theory or did Mel Gibson portray you in Conspiracy Theory? What’s next? Bush was behind 9/11?? This is ridiculous. Your argument has no premises to stand on. Your other examples are “on-field theatrics” and “always getting mic’d up”?! If every quarterback who smiles and puts his hands in the air after a touchdown is desperate for the spotlight, then every qb is jack-ass, not just Favre. And please, obviously the most famous guy on the team gets mic’d…

Favre recently said he wanted to be traded within the Packers’ division because of “vindictive” motives. If only you were as honest as Favre. You obviously have a personal grudge against the guy. He is clearly in the Top 10 quarterbacks of all time (not maybe) for a myriad of reasons. I once respected your opinion that you’d rather have a more reliable passer on your team, but now it’s getting ridiculous.

I’m used to your bold claims that are really out there (they are the only way to gain attention in the sportscasting world, as you once told me)… but this one is so off the mark its not even funny.
